I’ve gotten a couple of emails asking where is the best place to watch the Super Bowl in Sydney this coming Monday. Yeah, I know Super Bowl Monday sounds weird. What’s even weirder is it’s early Monday. Kick off is approximately 10:25am.

The best place to watch the Super Bowl is with a group of other Gridiron crazy NFL loving expats.

The Sydney Expat Americans Meetup.com Group has reserved the ENTIRE Morrison Bar and Oyster Room located on 225 George Street (Cnr Grosvenor St) right in the CBD. If you work nearby then stop by for your “morning tea” or “early lunch” or just chuck a sickie and stay for the whole game even the Katy Perry part.

  • Lots of screens including one GIANT SCREEN.
  • $20 Buckets of Budweiser
  • Bloody Mary’s “by the Clock”!! Meaning Bloody Mary between 8am and 9am is $8, between 9am and 10am is $9 and after 10am it stays locked in at $10 for the rest of the day.
  • American Menu – Breakfast menu with pancakes (usually a dessert item served with ice cream in Australia), lunch menu chili dogs, chili burgers.

The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room

Located 225 George Street.
Doors open at 8am and there are no table reservations, just show up!
Entry is FREE.
There are already 296 American Expats going last I checked.
